The Great Sphinx that is part of the Giza pyramid complex is one of Egypt's most famous symbols.The body of the Great Sphinx is a lion that measures 240 feet 73 meters long and 66 feet 20 meters high.The head is roughly 13 1/2 feet 4 meters wide. It has a man's head that some believe is a portrait of Pharaoh Khafre.
