Walt: Find the Main Idea about Ginger

Ginger was a special horse. Ginger was the colour of toffee. Ginger had been trained to play polo. Ginger won't work with other horses. When it’s school time Ginger takes Ken and his sister to school. Jane said to Ginger that he was slow and old and soon would be dog meat. Jane was jealous of Ginger. Jane and her brother chased them and they threw stones at them. Then the dad got sick. They have to leave the farm and live in town. Jane’s dad came and he bought Ginger. Jane never like Ginger but she had realized that Ginger was a special horse so she took care of him.

Cheesecake

It was a lucky day for  room 11 because we got cheesecake. My favorite part of the cheesecake was the cream cheese. The cream cheese taste like caramel. Thank you Mrs Terry for giving us the cheesecake to eat and it was really delicious.

Button-Main Idea

Walt: Find the main idea.

Abby,Mum and aunty Noa sewed buttons on the dressing gown. They found buttons from old clothes and old pair of dungarees and an old shopping bag. aunty Noa had two different coloured buttons and a brown leathery buttons with a golden stud in the middle. Abbys favourite was a silver button that looked like a coin with a lion pressed into its face. When they finished making the gown they each had a turn to tell a story. Abby had a great time on the trip.

In room 12 I have been learning my times table. I came second playing Dinner Dash. If you want to play this game just go on sumdog.

Cross Grouping

In this game we had to try to get the correct answer. This game was not hard for me. I got ten out of ten and I was happy. I will play this game again but only if I have time

Comprehension

In this game you have to read the story first and if you a finished reading you can start the quiz. You have to remember the story so you can answer the questions. There a ten questions that you have to answer. You can see that I got seven questions correct and three wrong answers. But I think I can do better than this.
